Hindu Girl, Family Assaulted Brutally in Barasat

Muslim radicals go wild, Hindus in complete terror

Barasat is back in news once more and certainly for wrong reasons; the entire area has turned into a danger zone for Hindu women virtually and due to the perennial reluctance of local administration, Muslim hooligans and their accomplices are reigning there supremely. The situation is such that Hindu women can be abducted, molested and even raped at any moment.

While a Hindu girl student was assaulted brutally on February 1, 2013, her family making desperate efforts to save her from Islamists was also thrashed severely.

Hindu Girl Student Gang Raped in Nimpith

The saga of rape in the realm of Bengal refuses to end; this day or the other one witnesses any such gruesome incident in any part of the state. And the rape of a 15-year-old Hindu girl, inhabiting village: Nimpith Vidyasagar Mor, Futigoda area, P.S. Joynagar, District: 24 Paraganas (South) by criminals on February 5, 2013 adds a new page to the dreadful chronicle.

The 15-year-old Hindu girl happens to be student of Class IX at Nimpith Sarada Vidyamandir and has been a good student always. On the fateful day (February 5, 2013), at 6.45 pm, Namita Halder (name changed), daughter of a poor Hindu cycle van puller, was going to her relatives’ house, living in Nalua village – P.S. Mathurapur, to inform them of her grandmother’s illness. Well, she was not alone; Biswajit Das (age 18), son of Sri Dibakar Das, neighbour of the girl, was escorting her.

Once Biswajit and Namita passed Nimpith police camp and were walking to the small bridge, 4 youths appeared before them suddenly. Without wasting a moment, two of them pounced on Biswajit while the other two dragged Namita to a nearby field forcefully. Biswajit was thrashed mercilessly and Namita was gang raped.

Biswajit, later, phoned Namita’s family members who rushed to the spot and recovered them.

Namita is in a terrible shock yet. Her family members are simply clueless of the entire development.

About 50 Hindu Samhati activists are accompanying the hapless girl and her father to the police station.  The FIR has been lodged and the case no. is 105/2013 of Joynagar PS.

Islamic bid to outshine, insult Hindus succeed

Once a Hindu festival is performed at any institution in contemporary Bengal it must be countered with doing a Muslim festival there – however insignificant it is – and all measures ranging from pressurizing to intimidating concerned authority with dire consequences, if there is any failure to perform, reign highly. Akuni Biji Beharilal Institution, adjoining Gaopalpur Bazar, close to Moshat in District: Hooghly, remains witness to such a horrendous development.

Pakistan’s Long Forgotten Hindu Temples and Gurdwaras

In Rawalpindi, the temple located at Government Asghar Mall College is used as a scrap yard. A Shiva temple at Gunjmandi now houses storerooms or shops. There are a few more abandoned temples scattered around College Road, Bohar Bazaar, Purana Qilla, Bagh Sardaraan and then some on the outskirts of Rawalpindi which are about to collapse, or so it seems!

In the old area of Lunda Bazaar, there used to be three temples, a Gurdwara, a Khalsa School and many Havelis belonging to the Hindus and Sikhs of the time. Of the three temples, two have survived. The third, of goddess Kali in the main bazaar, no longer exists. It has been converted into living quarters and extensions have been made, thus changing the original structure entirely.

Didi’s Muslim Appeasement Forces Bengal to Financial Doomsday Fast

Rhetoric of Mamata Didi in accusing the central government of snubbing Bengal intentionally leading to an empty treasury or on how a cash-strapped government can cater people’s basic needs has become intolerable to a multitude of Bengal’s population, according to sources. They have been found to wonder the government’s intentions even!

What is more, they have started to indict that the Chief Minister is just buying time only before the final collapse while her sycophants are busy in garnering wealth in every capacity – greatest example being the abysmal decline in law and order situation of the state. There are other charges as well – while lots feel that Didi is completely inept to administer, a greater number of people consider her as mere deceiver – even if the state government remains cash-strapped and the premier wonders where from she can manage 7% more to the existing Dearness Allowance to its employees (announced already), there has been no dearth of bountiful expenses to better Muslims – their Imams and Muazzins in particular.

Being a journalist, it has always been my prime concern to delve into any subject painstakingly. So when people are charging the Bengal premier of leading the state to a (apparent) religious bifurcation with financial destruciton, the issue must also be examined.

A glance at the available records reveals that the honorariums rendered to Imams and Muazzins have cost the state dearly.

According to statistics available from the Board of WAKFS Bengal, during the period from April 14, 2012 and December 30, 2012, Rs. 50 crore 51 lakh 44 thousand have been rendered to 23, 636 Imams of 19 districts. 10, 340 Muazzins of all these (19) districts have received Rs. 11 crore 36 lakh 36 thousand 160.

The expenses regarding honorariums to Imams and Muazzins, as found from government records, are not minimal in any way but people consider that there is no necessity of the same. Since, mosque in any nook remains duty-bound to look after welfare of its employees through its own funds collected through Zakat1 there is no need of any other state-funded honorarium.

How can this act of Didi be defined then? The majority of people in Bengal (including her own party’s members) considers said approaches as nothing except a blatant appeasement to Muslims ruining the state (when it is so stone-broke) altogether. They are also found to assert had the same money been used for developmental jobs, Bengal would have been better than what it is today.

But………..Muslim appeasement is call of the day and if the state fails miserably for doing the same, none is there to care.

Hail nationalism!

Muslim Cleric Dictates Bengal Chief Minister to Block Salman Rushdie’s Visit to Kolkata

Are we in a civilized state?

It’s official now – Bengal Chief Minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee, was wholly instrumental to block the visit of Salman Rushdie, internationally acclaimed author, to Kolkata and she acted thus on the dictation rather than advice of an Islamic cleric, Maulana Barkati, Imam of the Tipu Sultan Mosque. And this has been claimed by none except the Imam himself while there has not been any approach from the Bengal government or CM’s office yet to nullify it.

On the word of Imam, "I spoke to Mamata Banerjee when she was in Darjeeling. Just one day before Salman was to come ...He was supposed to come in the morning. I got to know the night before. She said don't worry, I won't let him come. You don't worry. Ours is a secular state. It will remain secular. Mamata said he was a shaitan."

This statement has been rocking the mainstream media and hence, it can’t be termed as a mere fabrication of Hindu activists, hounded by the same government time and again.

The truth behind the entire development has been strengthened by Sultan Ahmed, Trinamool MP, who without any qualms stated, "If the West Bengal government stopped him from coming, then I congratulate the government, I congratulate Mamata Banerjee." Idris Ali, All India Minority Forum president and Trinamool Congress leader who played a key role in expelling Taslima Nasreen from Kolkata in 2007, said, “the chief minister wants communal harmony in the state. I congratulate her, the police and the administration for taking proper decisions in maintaining peace”.

Perhaps the entire development makes a staunch secularist (who believes at least that secularism denotes a doctrine that rejects religion and religious considerations and a truly secular state has no business with any religion in particular) ashamed and also believe that everything in contemporary Bengal is moving towards a wrong direction and is ruining its own political fabric steadily.

The unfortunate incident brings forth another reality too – how a Chief Minister can stoop for own political benefits – to go for Muslim appeasement blatantly disregarding constitutional duties.

Even if Salman Rushdie has lashed out the Bengal government, it will definitely fail to make Ms. Mamata Banerjee, Bengal CM, realize her own gigantic blunders. She is in the chair for bettering Muslims only while others in the state, let alone Hindus, will have to remain high and dry.

We are in a weird democracy where democracy is guaranteed to all constitutionally but the political power (to implement it perfectly) rests with rouges, rascals, freebooters and certainly shameless appeasers to Muslim radicals.
